Thursday Night Magic is a small community of players located in East Tucson.
The following is the default tournament format.                                           

The particular format for the tournament depends on how many players show up.

3 players or less - free for all.
4 players - either 2-headed giant or archenemy.
5 players - star - The flavor of star is announced at each tournament.
6 players - Emperor.
7 players -?  No ideas for this slot yet.
8 players - draft from the collection - tournament organizer is allowed to draft.
9 players - draft from the collection - tournament organizer is not allowed to draft.
10+ players - best of 3 single elimination knockout.

For the draft, 24 packs of random cards are created from the community collection by the tournament organizer. Each pack contains 10 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 rare or mythic rare, and 1 card of any rarity.

After the tournament the draft packs are returned to the community collection.
