I posted this over in reddit too, no responses. So I figured I would post it here as well.

Hey guys I was wondering how much damaged cards sell for. I have a damaged Candelabra Of Tawnos Im looking to sell/trade. But Im not exactly sure about what it's worth. Any one have experience dealing with damaged cards? I was told that some people may actually be able to repair cards to a certain degree. I've had it listed on fleebay for a while, and have actually gotten some decent offers ($80+) but I figured I'd ask the experts before letting it go. I was told by its original owner that his dog bite it. Not sure if that's actually the case, but the card was pierced.

Considering that that card is too damaged to be legal to play, I would probably seriously entertain that $80 offer.

Actually I would stick it in a phone book and just let it sit for month and see if gravity cant do some work in flattening it out. If you can manage to get those dents from the teeth flatten, it would more than pass for playable and thus increase its value. As it is, I would say that 80 is more than fair for it but the better condition you can get it in, the more youd get for it.

I tried that. You can still feel the slightly raised bumps in it though. You cant see a difference when it's sleeved, but if you're fingering your deck all the time, you might be able to

Well to be honest you shouldn't take any less than 80 for it. I've seen duals that were dropped in water that still sold for at atleast half. Someone could easily find use for it in a cube or pay to have it altered and you'd never know. Hell if I didn't have a wedding to pay for I would offer for it for my cube lol

Ya, I was thinking about the altering part too. If they could repair and alter it at the same time, that would be great.

I would trade you at least $100 in value for it.
