so my thinking is a problem is elspeth first and formost stupid tokens... lol well with him she cant kill him with - and ur able to play him, then play poluk if they do have an answer he is kinda a big target

im just kinda stuck on him, i mean im running xenagod... so what
1 mystic,2 cary or scooze, 3 Archtype, 4 xenagos into poluk, 5 xenagod! target poluk swing with a 10/10 trampler?
ik it doesnt always work that way but i feel it makes scooze more viable as well gobble gobble gobble, 5/5 ooze w/ trample

First off, if you're going R/G mid-range, at the three-spot you're going to want to be running Courser of Kruphix and/or Anger of the Gods. I've been playtesting a fair amount and you find that you're either behind the curve against more aggressive decks OR you're just putting down underwhelming threats.

As far as giving trample, you can try the Archetype, but my guess is that the low toughness will end up making him less valuable than you realize. You should be running a playset of Ghor-Clan Rampager which grants trample when you bloodrush, so getting those added points of damage through isn't really that big of a problem. Nylea actually fits in relatively well as a 1-2x card as she can both offer trample AND additional pumps. You can easily pump a creature with her ability and, when combined with Xenagos (v 2.0), that's really +4/+4... often times the difference between winning and losing in combat.

As a decent tool for the deck, I've found Savageborn Hydra to be ALARMINGLY powerful care of Xenagos (v 2.0). The issue before was that you could sink 5 mana for a 3/3 double-strike that would immediately get dropped on their turn by removal - but now that it has haste, they have to face down a 6/6 double-strike, haste threat. If you have a Ghor-Clan to bloodrush, that's a 10/10 double-strike, trample, haste to deal with (note that you can't bloodrush before Xenagos' trigger has to be resolved, but still). In much the same vein, Kalonian Hydra becomes a 5 cost 12/12 trample, haste.

So, in regard to your question, you're welcome to run the Archetype and report back how it goes, but my guess is that you likely don't need it. The other options you have are probably better.

(Also as a quick aside, I would relegate Scooge to the SB for match-ups where you're either racing or need some yard hate)

yeah the scooze i feel is weakish i mean he has his moments but its not an overly hardcore powerhouse like it was when it appeared in m14(and inndistrad was legal)

kalonians are more viable now but interfere w/ curve, savageborn is great version 1.0 of this deck was savageborn kalonian heavy :)

and after seeing it played courser + domri does seem good :p

idk havent been able to playtest w/ friends lately so guess thats why im questioning... wish i could jus run herald of torment and be done w/ it lol
i imagine savageborn/courser is the way togo in the long run
