So, i recently decided to buy a http://tinyurl.com/oxzc7gl i have done a little research and found i would like to build a deck that i believe is referred to as a swarm deck. mostly cards that when played add more cards to the field. I believe these would be mostly green? my problem is i am so new to the game i am not sure what i should be trying to focus on. I have never built a deck before, i have only used the pre-made decks on mtg the pc game. I have attached an export of all my current available cards . idk if it will help anyone but again, i've no idea what im doing :'( any tips, or advice would be appreciated :)

thanks from your fellow magic gamer, and newb!

Edit: it was uploaded to deckbox, that download is from this website. http://deckbox.org/sets/687618 sorry for no link. all help is appreciated XD

One thing you should do is take that csv file and upload it to deckbox so people don't have to download your inventory. Now, as for advice, I'm relatively new to the game as well but I believe your best course of action based on what you've got right now is going to be to build around what you actually have rather than trying to be so specific. Just arrange your cards by color, pick the two you like best and put your best cards into the deck (this is still the hardest part for me. The cards I like the most aren't always the best cards to play). Put in 25 lands and 35 spells and you'll have yourself a deck.

Also, keep in mind that MtG 2015 comes out in July; it might be worthwhile to wait and get the new edition's Deckbuilder box.

IIRC, it is $19.99 for a deckbuilder box (cheaper online, etc.).

The hundred buck boxes are booster boxes. Deckbuilder boxes are twenty.

current deck - http://deckbox.org/sets/688591?
total inventory - http://deckbox.org/sets/687618

is what i built with the few cards i have. i only own 258 cards right now so i don't have a lot of variety to choose from. If someone could look it over and give me some constructive criticism i would appreciate it. Being the first deck i've ever built i know it will have tons of flaws. thank you to anyone who responds for having the patience to help a newb out :)

Someone else will be able to give you much better advice than me, but this doesn't look half bad for a starter deck. You've got a few good 1 drops and if you can get 3mana you can sacrifice centaur's herald for a 3/3. Elvish Mystic is a great 1 drop that a lot of pros use and will help you ramp up your green mana. Those are two good cards to have 3 of in your deck. Now you just need to play it, see what works and what doesn't, and buy singles to improve it.
