Notes

So far, I've got a UB modern deck that dies to Tron and a Bant modern deck that doesn't fare much better.

I'm missing red, don't like Faithless Looting decks much, and I wanna poop on Tron. Burn it is!

Big differences between the normal boros burn build are:
1. Few fetches, because this is budget and Phoenix has caused all the red fetches to spike like crazy
2. Only 2x searing blaze, because without fetches they aren't great. Searing blood in the SB does a reasonable impression, and those 2 extra slots MD are going towards extra helixes to make up for my painful manabase.
3. No light up the stage, since it plays awful with rift bolt and Eidolon. Would rather just have another bolt effect. At least that's what the internet tells me.
4. No Cindervines in the SB, since I can't reliably get green without fetches + stomping ground.
5. No RiP in the SB for budget reasons - Using Relics instead which should do a reasonable impression.

Is the Battlefield Forge more consistent than using Clifftop Retreat?  Is the untapped on T1 the reason?

I think so, since I'm only playing 9 mountains theres a risk it'd come into play tapped. Ideally they'd be red fetches, but budget dictates

I could just replace em with mountains, but I haven't been burned by the lifeless yet, so I'll keep them in for now

        Yeah, makes sense!
