Notes
The way random effects works is; there's one communal deck of 100ish cards, when the player who went first takes their second turn they flip the top card of the effects deck over and MUST cast it for free. Whatever the card is, the player who flipped it counts as the controller of that spell. from there on, everyone may opt for an effect during their upkeep. and whenever a player could draw a card, they may instead use an effect.
The deck is in progress and any fun as hell card suggestions are welcome. no creatures unless we all agree Emrakul or something similar should be in here. I would also like to have enchantments be either funny auras or field effecting regardless of the controller.

Michael Kalter | Edited 12-Dec-2010 18:14there's also a legit variant called chaos magic, but to flip a card u must roll a d6 and get either 1 or 6. and only field effects are allowed. i feelthat version's better for free for alls and this version is better for duels and two-headed giant
