This is an all-foil project that I originally constructed in March 2020 as I pivoted to more casual Magic around quarantine. It's something fun to play with friends that honors both my favorite tribe and, in spirit, one of my favorite Magic characters: Lord Windgrace.

Additional incentive for this project was my father's handing-down of his own personal Magic collection in February 2020, which included impeccably preserved knight foils and foil Plains from the Kamigawa - Lorwyn era.

Since this deck's inception, I've typically run the "Sun Gun" combo of Pioneer fame (Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista), and have house-ruled a ban on targeting Ballista with Heliod's lifelink ability in casual settings. To accommodate the power level 5-6 pods in which I feel most comfortable playing, I've since switched Heliod and Ballista to Knighthood + Kwende, Pride of Femeref as a simple two-card "combo" of sorts.
