I wanted to build at least one voltron list, since I find it very interesting to work with a hexproof general. It was always between Uril, Thrun and Sigarda. In the end, Sigarda combination of abilities won me out. But I'm still looking forward to building an Uril list someday.

Sigarda's 5 power makes us work for only +6 damage from her to finish it in 3 turns. Moreover, she really makes it easy for us having evasion and making our opponent's life that much harder since he can't try and make us sac her. We only need to look out for 3 possibilities here: Cyclonic Rift; mass removal; and bottom library effects such as Terminus and Hallowed Burial.

Dealing with mass removal effects is quite manageable, as we won't lack tools for it. Saffi, Gaddock, Shield of the Ovresoul and Umbra-auras are working that angle. Bottom library effects are quite more difficult, but we do have options, depite few ones. I chose Orim's Chant and Silence to battle that flank. They are specially amazing against Terminus, Hallowed Burial is a little more tricky. You will simply have to go with your gut and observation skills. Try reading your opponent poker-style to access the possibility of him having it or not. Now, Cyclonic Rift, is just problem. We don't really have ways to stop it since it's an instant.

We're also running some anti-counter measures in the deck. Savage Summoning, Defense Grid, City of Solitude and Grand Abolisher are quite important here. Even if you're not facing blue mages, they're quite useful to avoid removal in response when it comes a time when you decide to enchant one creature different than Sigarda.

This deck is very nice to pilot, and does have a competitive feel to it also.
