Results:
1-3-1 at January 3rd 2015:
2-1 vs Green Jeskai Ascendancy. Opponent mulled to 5 in game 1, but comboed out in game 2. I countered his Ascendancy on turn 2 in game 3, and managed to fight through his Leyline of Sanctity with a Swiftspear by bolting myself twice.
1-2 vs UW Tron. Got locked out of game 1 by a Gifts into Iona. Countered the Gifts in game 2 and burned him down. In game 3 I landed a Blood Moon to disable his Tron and Collonades, but he responded with a Gifts, and was able to flashback Rites to get his Iona with his single Plains, killing me one bolt away from victory.
1-1 vs UR Twin. Didn't think about Twin, so I lost game 1 to turn 3 Exarch into turn 4 Twin. Grinded out game 2 right before time. Had a fast start in game 3, but was one turn away from lethal during extra turns.
1-2 vs Affinity. Got rushed by robots in game 1. Kept a hand with Wear//Tear in game 2 and killed his turn 1 Chalice, and swept the game from there. A Spellskite in game 3 prevented me from removing a Cranial Plating, which equipped on an Inkmoth did exactly 10 infect damage one mana before I could deal with the Plating.
1-2 vs Junk. Game 1 he kept 3 lands with no black, and by the time he was able to get it, I had beat him down with my Swiftspears. Game 2 I drew 14 of my 18 lands and had no gas. Game 3 I flooded slightly less, and was able to stay afloat, but was stuck with a Spell Snare and Threads in hand while he played 3 and 4 drops. Managed to stabilize with double Pyromancers and Snaring a Golgari Charm, but was very low while he was very high. Tried to bluff something by keeping a Mountain in my hand, and ripped a Bonfire during extra turns, but was one mana short of killing his Siege Rhino. I could have blocked the Rhino with my Pyromancers and tokens for a draw, but being out of contention for top 8, I gave him the win.
