This is just the beginnings of an idea, not even close to complete. Idea is:

Use discarding as a resource to fuel various forms of burn and card draw. Would prefer to use discard that I initiation, as oppose to opponent initiated, though opponent initiated discard cards like psychic purge could be in sideboard.

But that's not really what I want to do. I want more cards like fiery impulse that don't require opponent to cause the discard.

Is there an enchantment that does damage each time a card is discarded or goes into graveyard?
