Notes

I wanted to work with knights, which have a number of complementary properties in mono-white. I get some battalion, some battle cry, some first strike, some protection, some boosts. Throw in a little damage prevention and life gaining, and suddenly it is a white weenie deck that gets intimidating in a fight. I also finally had a curve that worked for the inclusion of all three copies of Pentarch Paladin. Ultimately, it is a pretty direct deck built to ramp up into beatdown mode. The 10/15/5/7/3 curve looks perhaps a little nicer than it is, with only 6 creatures at the 1-spot, but the 2.45 average is still quite easy to work with. The name comes from the Zukertort opening in chess, which begins Nf3.
